As an association we are made up of people who have chosen to contribute in various ways to uphold the principles and ideals we hold dear. We know that the Conservative Party represents the hard working people of this country and the rights of individuals, it is the party of Benjamin Disraeli, Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher. It is the party that has had the tough challenges and had to make the hard decisions to sort things out every time Labour has spent it all, yet again. A problem we've seen repeated nationally and locally far too often.
If you want to get involved, in however small or big a way, you will be very welcome. Members have the opportunity to play an active role in the party, campaign on national and local issues, and attend the annual Party Conference. They also have voting rights in party elections after just three months of membership and are invited to regular local member speaker meetings, events and dinners.
